My darling Poppie. It has been one year since you went to Heaven. That is a blink of an eye for you, but the firsts were difficult without you here. I love you with all of my heart and I always will. I am so proud to be your daughter and I am happy to have inherited so many of your good traits, mannerisms, and qualities. I learned from the best dad in the whole world. I feel your love and see the little signs of your presence in our lives. I think of you everyday and when I do, I feel your hand in mine, see that handsome smile, hear that delightful laugh, and am calmed by your gentle strenth. Among other things, we are having peanut butter and jelly and orange juice in your honor today. I love you forever and ever and will see you again one day. Until then, Happy Trails! XOs

My dearest Monte, One year without hearing your voice, seeing your smile, and without you beside me was extra long. My sorrow and grieving was softened because I felt your spiritual presence and loving ways so strong, from great memories reflected in our amazing children and grandchildren. You are truly loved and missed by me, our families, and so many friends. We have a lot to live up to. You were so good, and loved God, that I know you are without pain, still in God's loving care and surrounded by more wonderful people in Heaven. Always in my heart, Love, Mary xo
